  • July – August: Normandy Mont Saint-Michel Night Walk – See the Abbey at night, when it will be illuminated with lights, images, music and more. www.monuments-nationaux.fr 
  • July – August: Dijon (Burgundy) Garçon la Note – Music will fill the cafes and restaurants with free concerts being hosted all around Dijon throughout the summer from 8 to 10 p.m. almost every night. All types of genres will be showcased, from jazz to rock to folk.
  • July – August: Paris Paris Plage - Since 2002, Paris has transformed part of the city into a beach, putting down sand by the Seine and hosting volleyball games, ice cream stands and more. www.paris.fr
  • July 25 – 29: Bayonne(Aquitaine) “Fêtes de Bayonne”- Five non-stop days of “fiesta”, with bull running, street music, and a special day for children.
