Schierwaldenrath, Germany

Schierwaldenrath is very nicely located between Birgden and Breberen/Langbroich.

It is roughly 15 minutes to either NATO gate. It is a small beautiful village with an exceptional bakery and of course the Train, an old Steam Engine, few of its kind in existence. (http://www.selfkantbahn.de/) Once on the site, click on the picture, then click on the British flag at the bottom for English. It is a lovely train and simply goes to Gillrath, then returns to Schierwaldenrath.

Schierwaldenrath is a beautiful picturesque village with some of the very best farm roads around for walking, running, or taking the dog out for a walk. The neighbors are very friendly.

The same bus stop on the main road through Schierwaldenrath serves both GK and AF North. It also has a covered bench seating area.
