Tapas are Spanish appetizers, so that is exactly what the Tapas Restaurant on Sittard market square specializes in.
I think this is one that you have to decide on. I’ve heard people rave about this place. I’ve been there some evenings and loved the food and others nights have found it average. Some nights you’ll encounter a party with dancing and live music, others it’s a quiet getaway where you can read a book or have a nice conversation. It’s always a toss up.
For kids? It’s kid friendly enough with outdoor seating. Little ones are always happy with chips and the chicken tapas are flavorful. The prices are average for the area.
Tapas does cater events and host parties so you can bring in music and choose the food to be handed out. I attended one party there where we got drink tokens and the waitresses came around with trays of chicken skewers, bruschetta, olives, and other Spanish tidbits. It was all delicious.
