Eier Liqueur – New flavors

In chocolates and cakes, with whipped cream and coffee, and even in ice cream, egg liquor is a very popular flavoring here both in Germany and the Netherlands. In German it’s “eier liquor” and in Dutch it’s “advocaat.” Either way, it’s a bright orange-yellow, potent, yet sweet, egg-yolk runny liqueur that taste pretty good.

You’ll love it or hate it, but it’s worth a try – just once. And it won’t be hard to find once you know it’s there. Order a cappuccino at De Twee in Sittard and you’ll get a bit on the side to try!
